Lay Representatives
2 days per month on average – flexible times

Applications are sought from members of the public, service users and carers to join NCEPOD as a core group of lay and patient representatives working on many of the NCEPOD studies. Developing a detailed understanding of NCEPOD and our methods you will be able to provide the ongoing patient and public voice at NCEPOD and support individual, study-specific patients.

As examples, but not exclusively, tasks would include:

  • Helping develop study protocols
  • Participating in Study Advisory Groups
  • Reviewing the data
  • Providing a lay and patient perspective on the reports.
This position would be for one year initially, and renewable on an annual basis thereafter.

The successful candidates will be asked to attend the NCEPOD office in London as required with good notice.

NCEPOD will reimburse all travel expenses.
