SURGICAL CLINICAL CO-ORDINATOR VACANCY
2 sessions per week (secondment)
Applications are sought from surgical consultants to provide clinical input to NCEPOD.

As examples, but not exclusively, tasks would include:
  • Forming study protocols and questionnaires
  • Chairing meetings of steering groups for individual studies
  • Chairing meetings of clinicians reviewing case notes
  • Report writing
This secondment position would be for one year initially, and renewable on an annual basis thereafter. NCEPOD would reimburse travel expenses.

The role of Clinical Co-ordinator in Surgery is a broad role and applicants should have a wide surgical knowledge and be willing to get involved in all of our studies even though they might not fall under their direct specialty training.
