Parenteral Nutrition

Data Collection for study - January 2009 to December 2009

NCEPOD has now completed work on a study into Parenteral Nutrition. This is the first time that NCEPOD has performed an in depth review of the clinical and organisational management of these patients.

Data Collection for the study has now finished, and all Local Reporters should have received a request for data (the deadline for submitting data is the 15th May 2009). Information already in distribution on the study is available for download here. For submitting data during the study download the spreadsheet and instructions here.

There are two questionnaires related to this study:

  • Organisation questionnaire – to gain aspects of organisational care at your site that is related to this study. This will be sent out from April 2009. To download and print the questionnaire please click here.

  • Clinical questionnaire – we will only be sending this questionnaire to clinician's to gain information about related cases for this study. To download and print this questionnaire please click here.

I would like to read the protocol - could you send me a copy?
Yes. All hospital/units/centres will be asked to take part regardless as NCEPOD need data from all hospitals for this study. Please contact NCEPOD directly using the details in the Contact Us section.
