The Coroner's Autopsy: Do
we deserve better? (2006)
Following a proposal from the Royal College of Pathologists,
NCEPOD has reviewed, in detail, the autopsy reports produced
for the coroners; this includes both deaths in hospitals and
in the community.

Organisational Data

anonymous overview of the data returned from the organisational
questionnaires to allow individuals
to benchmark themselves against similar sized units. This
data has been categorised by the number of autopsies performed
each
year. The relevant site numbers have been sent to all Medical
Directors and Mortuary Managers.
